Mr. Allen has more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, both as a clinician and as an administrator. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and holding his Colorado Certified Addiction Counselor Level III (CACIII) certification, Mr. Allen also earned an MBA from Colorado State University. He joins SummitStone Health Partners after serving as Vice President at AspenPointe in Colorado Springs, where he worked for more than a decade.
Gerry Brew, BA, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Brew was most recently the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administration Officer for Journey Mental Health, Wellness, and Recovery in Madison, Wisconsin. He has been recognized nationally for several awards and affiliations, including the National Leadership Award for Neurology/Brain Foundation, and CEO of the Year Finalist (In Business). Mr. Brew attended Chadron State College (B.A.), the University of Nebraska System (MBA), and the Stanford University AEA Executive Institute (Executive EMA). He has also received the designations of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP).
Vicki L. Grassman MSW, LCSW
Chief Operations Officer - Adult Services
Ms. Grassman has been a Chief Operations Officer for the past 23 years. An experienced clinician and supervisor, she supervises the adult and older adult behavioral health services as well as the Utilization and Quality Assurance Coordinators. Ms. Grassman received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin. A licensed clinical social worker in the state of Colorado, she is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
Cyndi Dodds, MS, LMFT
Chief Operations Officer - Child & Family and South County Services
Cyndi has a great passion for behavioral health services. She is the Chief Operations Officer at SummitStone Health Partners and previously served as the Executive Director for the Namaqua Center in Loveland. Her work has included over two decades at behavioral organizations in Northern Colorado. She began her career as a direct service provider at Island Grove Regional Treatment Center in Greeley and then at Larimer County Mental Health Center. She moved into senior leader roles at Namaqua Center and Larimer Center for Mental Health/SummitStone Health Partners. Cyndi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Alliant University in San Diego and a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Cyndi serves on the Larimer County Interagency Oversight Group, Colorado Behavior Healthcare Council (CBHC) Health Care Operations Committee and Colorado State University School of Social Work Advisory Board. She has served on the CBHC Conference Committee, CBHC Clinical Outcomes Subcommittee, the Colorado Association of Children and Family Agencies (CAFCA) Public Policy Committee, CAFCA Board of Directors and the Larimer County Federation for Families Board of Directors.
Director of Development and Marketing
Ms. Brunsell has served in the non-profit sector guiding fundraising activities for over 14 years in Larimer County. She is SummitStone Health Partner’s Director of Marketing and Development, primarily responsible for overseeing social media and web, public relations and donor stewardship and fundraising activities.
Human Resources Director
Ms. Jesser attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA. She has nearly thirty years’ experience in management that include for-profit restaurants and manufacturing, and nearly 20 years directly involved with directing and operating in Human Resources. Ms. Jesser has been with SummitStone Health Partners for over 10 years, and a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2000.
Brooke Lee, LPC, CAC III
Director of Adult and Access Services
Ms. Lee has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008 and a Certified Addiction Counselor III since 2010. She received her Master's Degree in Education and Human Resource Studies with a Community Counseling emphasis from Colorado State University in 2006. Brooke has worked at SummitStone Health Partners since 2005 when she started as a mentor for children, eventually moving into an Intake Specialist position, then Coordinator of the Access Clinicians' and South County Adult Mental Health teams, and now holds the role of Director of Adult and Access Services. She has recently been heavily involved with the development of SummitStone's intake and referral process. She has a special interest in assessment and crisis intervention of both kids and adults. She believes strongly in integration of mental health and addiction treatment.
Stephanie Madsen-Pixler, MSW, LCSW, CAC II
Director of Crisis and Stabilization Services
Stephanie has worked for SummitStone since 1995, moving from case manager to therapist and supervisor of numerous programs across the spectrum of services SummitStone offers. She has been instrumental in the development of the Sister Mary Alice Murphy Center for Hope, a resource center for people who are homeless, as well as our peer services and ACT teams. Currently, she is SummitStone’s representative in the development of Outreach Fort Collins as well as the implementation of the Zero Suicide model within the organization.
Jessica Russell, MA, LAC, CFI
Director of Compliance and Contracts
Ms. Russell is a Licensed Addictions Counselor and holds a certificate in the state of Colorado as a Child and Family Investigator. She has more than 20 years in management in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Marketing from Upper Iowa University. After years of working in for-profit settings, she pursued her life-long goal of becoming a therapist and graduated with her Masters in Counseling from Regis University. Jess has had extensive involvement in managing substance use disorder programs including Withdrawal Management programs (formerly referred to as Detox in Colorado) and residential programs for men, women and children. She previously served as a Director of Residential Services, having oversight of programs specializing in co-occurring disorders, while focusing on the statewide opioid epidemic and serving as a treatment team member on the State of Colorado's Opioid Consortium.
Director of Information Systems and Technology
Mr. Martin has partnered with Critical Access, PCMH, and Behavioral Health Providers alike over the last 12 years. Rob brings a modern vision of Data and Technology to healthcare that focuses on improving lives through provider success and clinical outcomes. A leader in all disciplines of Health Information Technology and Data Exchange; Rob works to bring new methods to population health management, stratification, care continuity, quality, and provider interoperability. Holding degrees in CIS and Technology Management, and serving on healthcare advisory boards; Rob’s career has been devoted to non-profit healthcare. “I truly believe Technology and Data have the very real power to improve lives and the healthcare paradigm.”
Director of Financial Services
Ms. Murphy has worked for Colorado Community Mental Health centers in the Northeast region for over 20 years. Her responsibilities have included management of accounting, billing, state reporting, data processing, reporting and implementation of accounting and electronic medical records systems. Deb has been a key member on state committees working with state agencies and other mental health centers across Colorado. Prior to working for the mental health centers Deb was a Certified Public Accountant for 10 years. Her experience in public accounting included audit, tax and assistance with accounting system implementations. Deb has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, completing both accounting and information systems concentrations.
